Mahanoy Area School District goes virtual Tuesday out of caution over ‘potential threat’ mask mandate related?

MAHANOY TWP., Pa. – Some students in Schuylkill County learned virtually Tuesday because of a potential threat. Subsequent to the district warning parents and children that despite the mask mandate lift per the Supreme Court, the district would still be mandating masks to be worn. It is clear what the root cause is.

Not surprising that the school didn’t elaborate on the nature of the alleged threat.

The district later said in a Facebook post that in-person instruction will resume today 12/15/21.
